Well my parents brought my sister's furniture to the house today. She's not moving in for another year.. but they got all the stuff already so they figured they might as well move it in now..
We had a nice dinner at Arby's then came back to the house so they could drop me off and head back to Clinton. My mom watered my plants, my dad looked around the yard (that Travis mowed for me!), and my sister went back to her room to make sure everything was where she wanted it for now.. Then we all went to the backyard because some guys were supposed to bury my phone line (They did). Then we were talking about the fence because Bailey is bring Goober when she moves in and we actually have about 2 more feet that belong to the property so we are going to have to move the fence. That's when I said something about talking to Kathy, my cousin who sells dogs. She was offering me a deal on the puppy of my choice for $200 instead of the usually 350 to 500 range she charges. I was really excited because I have been saving since late April for a puppy. No one looked nearly as excited as I was. That's when I said no one seemed very excited about me getting a dog and both of my parents pretty much told me that they didn't want me to get a puppy. I was VERY upset about this.
I have never had a dog that was mine.. Sure we've had family dogs, but really they have had their favorites.. Mama had Cole and now she has Gage, Daddy has Reno and Copper, and Bailey has Goober. I have never really had a dog that was mine. I know that all sounds kinda selfish, but I really want a dog that's mine. So when both of my parents told me they didn't want me to get a dog I was super sad..
They told me they didn't think that I would have enough time for it and they said that I can barely pay the bills for myself right now since my mom has had to pay for my last group of utilities.. I know that's true but I have been keeping money back for several months now and now that I have enough money to pay for it they tell me they don't want me to get one.
